Glenn Danzig
At this point, I think every old punk band I used to adore has somehow become embroiled in some sort of legal spat.
Now its the Misfits.
Glenn Danzig filed suit on April 3 against his former Misfits bandmate Jerry Only, charging trademark infringement.
In the suit, Danzig alleges Only violated a 1994 contract when he registered various Misfits trademarks in 2000.
Danzig’s suit claims Only then proceeded to secretly negotiate deals with various merchandising companies without Glenn getting any part of the action.
Danzig has also claimed that Only attempted to strong-arm merchandisers by revoking their licensing rights if they attempted to deal with Danzig directly.
